Samsung's official online store has started taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S4 Mini (GT-I9192). Samsung launched its Galaxy S4 Mini smartphone for Rs. 27,990 in India. However, it is only now that the company has started taking pre-orders for the device. The online store also notes, "Expected date of material availability 18th July." This means the device can be expected to be available only after July 18 and until then people can pre-book the smartphone. Another online retailer has also listed the device, although it comes with a 'coming soon' tag. The Galaxy S4 Mini may sounds like Samsung Galaxy S4 launched at a low price point. However, there is a misconception in the minds of users'. The South Korean giant will highlight this phone as better than Galaxy S3. But in reality, the latter handset is far the best budget Android powered handset you can buy. Let's have a look at the specifications of Galaxy S4 Mini followed by Galaxy S3.  Gallery Last month, Samsung finally announced much awaited Galaxy S4 Mini. The phone was touted to have rocking specifications. But Samsung showed an ill fitted device. Not only that, Samsung India is charging hell lot of money to own Galaxy S4 Mini.  The monster Galaxy S4 is retailing for Rs. 38,999. Undoubtedly, Samsung Galaxy S4 is the best rated Android phone in the Indian market. And the price is even right. But the same cannot be said about Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini. The device can be purchased at Rs. 26,999 via Flipkart. Now it's up you whether to purchase Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini or old generation Galaxy S3 The Mini avatar of Samsung flagship “as the name says” Galaxy S4 Mini is up for pre-order in India now  There is price difference of about Rs. 13500 between the two (Galaxy S4 was launched at Rs. 41500). I am here tempted to compare it to the 13 megapixel camera of Canvas 4, which is of course better. Micromax lays the camera with special Galaxy S4 like features and a quad-core 1.2 GHz processor underneath. The phone body is also decent and you will be happy to flaunt it as a style statement. “On the software front, you are missing a few key features from the GS4, most notably Air View and Air Gestures” says Engadget in a hands on review of Galaxy S4. This is what you get at Rs. 17999 in the Canvas 4. Galaxy S4 Mini seems to be a costly affair, when you compare it to Sammy’s own Galaxy S3 (last year’s flagship), or the latest launch from Micromax. It's just a shame it's so expensive. Over all the devices are arranged ascending order of worth , Samsung Galaxy S IV Mini < Samsung Galaxy S III < Micromax Canvas 4
